So, after discovering that my Playstation 2 does not, in fact, play region 2 DVDs, I switched the region on my computer so I could watch my $60 movie. (::winces at the price tag once again::) I will worry about a permanent fix later, probably after we return to the states ( Read more... )

Just finished watching Makai Tensho. ::bouncy:: Will be posty about it later, but I will say it made me very happy despite only understanding every thirty-seventh word or so.

::chin quiver:: No yummy pirates for me. We arrived at the theater almost two hours early and the show was sold out. Waaaaaaaaaah!

But I did get to spend the evening with salleesuewho, so not a complete waste. Dinner and shopping. I am now munching on shrimp chips and warily eyeing the honeydew puffs (like cheese puffs only... honeydew).

Well, we've seen Harry Potter at least. We went to see it the night it opened here, despite having had no intention of doing so. (I dislike people in general and children even more, so the terribly crowded first weekend showing was really not my scene.)
