Football last week was outstanding, one of the best games we've had. We were a man down, 5 on 6 but we dominated completely and won something like 14-6 or 14-7, a joy to play in. Looking forward to tomorrow's game, though it's back on the bigger pitch which probably isn't as good ( Read more... )

I'm back in Leeds now for the summer, not got a house sorted in Manchester yet. It should be alright, although I've been incredibly bored already and I don't have enough space to fit everything in this room. The exam was ok, they're all done now, which is nice. I did just talk shit in the 2nd question. After it I went for a drink with a few uni people and then we decided to go play football. 2 hours and quite a bit of travelling, sitting around and indecision later we got to the park and got started. Football last night was pretty good, tight game with some lovely stuff being played. I was reasonably happy with my performance overall, some nice passes and managed more running than usual I think, just a shame about my finishing. Snooker was as bad as expected. We managed 3 frames in about 2 hours, highest break of 13 and that included a fluked brown. Then we played pool, which was more successful and I was very much on form. I like Northern Snooker Centre. Pizzamania was a let-down, no garlic tomato stuff and the pizza was a bit odd. I want to try again though to check it ( Read more... )
