Snooker was as bad as expected. We managed 3 frames in about 2 hours, highest break of 13 and that included a fluked brown. Then we played pool, which was more successful and I was very much on form. I like Northern Snooker Centre. Pizzamania was a let-down, no garlic tomato stuff and the pizza was a bit odd. I want to try again though to check it wasn't just an off-day. And because £3.49 is a bargain. I wasn't really hungry either because I needed a shit but didn't, it was frustrating
Football on Monday was good. Played some real non-internet people, started strongly (up 8-2 or something early on) and started to fade. I think we won though and we played some lovely stuff
Rest of the weekend was a bit dull, just sat around at home. Spent some time with the dog, and watched the snooker final which, while shit, was pure drama. Amazing stuff
I've come back to Manchester to pick up my exam paper for next Thursday and just avoid Leeds boredom really. Stephen apparently might be coming round tomorrow to watch Question Time and drink a bit. Hopefully we won't drink quite so much as last time. I was planning to stay till Sunday or something but I'm now doing stuff in Leeds over the weekend
The plan is the Leeds game in the pub on Friday night, wine and football dvds on Saturday and Gregor Samsa at the Brudenell on Sunday. Then possibly starting a CM 01/02 network game on Monday if I can play it on more than one computer and then indoor football on Tuesday. That's if my legs have stopped aching by then
