Well, it was no dice finding any sort of cheese, or much in the way of spices, but I found some canned tomatoes, salt and pepper. And I'll have to substitute cooking oil for olive oil in the dough, but it should be basically okay... I've never made pizza dough before, so I'm not completely sure...Excuse me, but, a few days ago I promised a nice guy ( Read more... )

I've got spices if you make some of that for the restaurant.

Have any garlic or oregano?

Of course, even if you don't, I'd be happy to make the restaurant all the pizzas you need.

Garlic I've got. Oregano--not yet. Maybe I'll get a trade in tonight's dinner. I'm getting cinnamon for sure.

It's garlic salt though, not cloves.

Heh. Good to hear.

Far as garlic goes, it should be okay. It's just the taste that matters, right? Hopefully.

I don't know how many pizzas I can make with the ingredients I have, but I'll see what I can do. Maybe three if I make them real spare.

Ask those little girls.

They used like a mile of it in their act the other night.

Yeah, I saw. It was real cute! But I'm not sure if there's much left - or really how much there was in the first place.

You can have some if its for food. Especially pizza. Can I have some pizza? Can Marlene have some pizza too?

Yeah, I want to make an oven with the foil, if it's okay. With which to make several great pizzas for you and - Marlene and anyone else who wants some, of course!

That's right!

I see, I've become popular enough that people I haven't even met yet know my name, right? I understand. Did you want some pizza, too?

Ah! I suppose I shouldn't just call out the names of those I don't know. You're very much like the Sorata I know!

Really? It's not a very common name. Small world, small world~

And furthermore, I'm disappointed, having always thought of myself as brilliantly and stunningly unique.

What's a pizza?

If you could use some protection, then I wouldn't mind lending it either. I have found a shakujou, and it would keep me from getting too rusty.

It's a fancy kinda Italian dish. You bake the dough and put toppings on it. There are a lot of different kinds!

And if you have help to give, I'd be really grateful. I'm trying to get together the things I need for a improvised oven, but I don't want to risk it indoors, and I'm not the fighting type at all.

Sounds weird.

Hopeless... All right. Wait for me tonight after the Northern Lights Bar closes. I can help you search for the things you need then.

Just stay out of my way.

I see. Wow, how useful. Thank you very much!

I'd definitely like to get some sort of permanent oven built eventually - would be real convenient, y'know? - but for now I was going to try for the easy, lazy way. If you cover a cardboard box inside with foil, I've heard you can cook like that. Don't know if it'll be strong enough for a pizza, but I figure as long as it's warm...

Come of think of it, are there any camping supply stores here? I lived kinda in the country so maybe that's why, but some places have shops where you can buy all sorts of outdoor things. Like stoves.

No problem, if you figure out any way how to make food taste any better too, tips-trading is a fair exchange.

Won't that be more dangerous, maybe catching the box on fire? Cardboard burns, you know.

No, but there's a hardware store. They had some charcoal, its mostly gone now, but you could find some things there, maybe.

Well, I've heard that that works. If you do if over a low fire, you know, embers and stuff. If you cut the bottom of the box, y'know?
