life, where did you go?
Law school has basically sucked the life out of me, but in a good way. I'm happy with what I'm doing yet distressed with the lack of free time I have.
Thankfully I've been able to catch some TV this season to decompress from too much brain function. It has been very cathartic to watch Blair and Serena go back to war in Gossip Girl and Bridget ( Read more... ) -

A few conlcusions
1. Jean-Jacques Rousseau is crazy-insane. Read his Discourse on Inequality or any of the walks in The Reveries of the Solitary Walker. He makes some valid points about the discrepancies between nature and convention but some of his conclusions are whack. I need to decide where to go in Japan and when. As of now it's between Hokkaido this summer or Nagoya in two years. I can't go to Tokyo because it's too easy and you don't have to speak Japanese. Something about Japanese majors and not speaking Japanese in Japan is frowned upon by the East Asian language department...can't see why ( Read more... ) -

I hate doctors and hospitals. My hate stems from continual bad experiences as a child. Monday I started to feel really chilly and my head started to throb. However, I'm a big believer in the power of the mind. I was convinced I could sleep it off. The next day it got worse and I was freeeeeeeeezing. I'm cursed. It's official. I have a "traveling" curse. Whenever I attempt to ride planes, trains or automobiles something bad happens. Without fail.
It snowed yesterday. I'm going to Minnesota for a week. There will probably be a blizzard.

I wouldn't say I'm necessarily afraid of spiders. However, I often get very frightened if I destroy a spider web of any kind. I have some sort of irrational fear that spiders will one day become these massive mutant spiders 10 times bigger than humans and take over the earth.
