30 Days of TV: Day 1
I've been meaning to do this for a few days now, but keep getting sidetracked/distracted/etc >.> anyhoos, stole this meme from miss_elisa since it looked like fun :D (i certainly watch enough tv to do it, lol)
Day 01 - A show that should never have been canceled
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles + Dollhouse
First post, and it's already a tie XD (I can already tell this is gonna be a problem for me, lol, i'm too indecisive) I was just going to go with T:TSCC, but felt that Dollhouse definitely should have continued as well, despite managing to wrap up a lot of things in the finale. It started off a bit shaky, but that was network interference, and I think that, had that not been the case, it might've caught on quicker and ended up being amazing, instead of just great. It was such an original premise and had such potential, so it's a shame it didn't last longer.
TSCC, however, started off strong, faltered a bit in season two and, unfortunately we'll never know how a third season would have fared, though the setup for said hypothetical season was excellent and i would've been so excited to see what they came up with. I'd never actually seen the movies before tuning into the show, but was curious and ended up getting hooked instantly (I have since then seen the movies, and i really liked them-- yes, all four of them :P T2 in particular was pretty epic). Despite being upset/bitter about something that happened in the second-to-last episode, i was flailing like a flaily thing during the last few minutes of the finale and was keeping my fingers crossed for a renewal, but, sadly... no dice :(
In conclusion: Damn you, Fox *shakes fist*
