Day 02: A show that you wish more people were watching
Human Target
This show is actually a ridiculous amount of fun, but somehow managed to almost get canceled anyway, so I would really love if more ppl were watching it :S It's not realistic in the least, with at least one improbable action sequence per episode, but it's highly entertaining and the cast is fantastic-- Jackie Earle Haley ('Watchmen', 'Nightmare on Elm Street') in particular, as he pretty much steals every scene he's in... and when those scenes are with Chi McBride, they're usually hilarious too. Also, Mark Valley is pretty and I am shallow, so there :P Sure, each episode is pretty similar in terms of plot-- someone needs help/protection and our team steps in-- but it's done in such a way that it doesn't really feel repetitive, and the bits and pieces of backstory we get throughout the episodes make for an intriguing story arc, which culminates in a hell of a finale. Can't wait for season two!
In conclusion: awesome show that more ppl should check out, before Fox once again decides to pull the plug on something good. bitter? me? nah >.>
