Although they are most definitely my favorite pairing now, I'm afraid to admit in the beginning I was just waiting to see what would be canon :p. However, I wanted to comment on how well you phrased Yuki backing out. I really find that aspect an endearing part of Yuki's character so I throw my whole support behind your phrasing!

Yes he does call her intelligence into question TWO times after that meeting with Akito. First when she makes the cat for her Jyuunishi set...the other is in chapter 119 when he tells her 'I didn't think you were that stupid!' when she confesses (or rather, he calls her on her feelings). There is possibly more, but those two stand out to me.

Yes, my volume 11 is SO read over and over. It is my current favorite english release and I seem to never tire of it. ^_^

Ah, this manifesto was fabulous. I only recently got involved in the Fruits Basket fandom (roughly 6 months ago). I slowly lost time for it, though. And funds to support my manga addiction to it. I've only read a few of the manga's, but I've seen the entire anime. Anyway, I'm babbling. :)

This was awesome, and I am totally putting it into my Memories, because it was great. And I know I won't be able to resist coming back to read it again.
