Life has been busy since I was laid off in E-LOAN’s 400+ employee downsizing. I’ve been in the middle of lots of interviews which have been postponed due to my selection as a juror in a criminal trail. Everything has left me too busy too get into the Christmas spirit. I’m currently taking a dose of Charlie Brown Christmas in a last minute effort.
When the same song plays on two different radio stations at the same time I feel like my democratic rights have been violated regardless of how much I might enjoy the song.
My friend’s girlfriend that he met online in World of Warcraft is moving from the Maryland to live with him here in California. Nerd love makes me so happy.
When people fish food out of the garbage I have always been appalled. Sure, the apples were in a bag and perfectly safe to pull out of the trash, but they’ve past the point of no return. Don’t play God

If zombies sprung up in town I’d like to imagine I’d be coolheaded and smart enough to survive. But can you be too smart for zombies? The scientists always seem to fall first. Life is a delicate balance, zombies or not.
