Post-Christmas Update

Hmmhmmhmm, got Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story for Christmas. It's really quite good so far; it plays around with JRPG conventions for humourous effect, helped in no small part by its great translation. I'm still hesitant about Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, but it's tempting. Maybe when it goes on sale... I kind of really need a nice HD ( Read more... )

I'm tempted to try the Mario & Luigi DS games; they seem like fun. I'm waiting for Spirit Tracks too, maybe for my birthday...

Truffles! o.o They sound delicious!

What are you doing for your Katsucon cosplay?

Bowser's Inside Story has Fawful (AKA "the mustard of your DOOM" guy). Just sayin'.

Secretly? Truffles are REALLY easy to make (unless you're going for fancy fillings, but just chocolate ones are incredibly simple.)

See the dude in my icon for this comment (Jiang Wei)? If I can figure out how to make scale mail (hence the visit to Home Depot), I'm cosplaying as him.

Are you cosplaying his old outfit or the new one?

His new design, even with all the scale-mailing I'm going to need to do, is a lot easier to accomplish than his old ones simply because the cloth needed is much less extravagant. His new weapon, on the other hand...

Spirit Tracks is fun! Since you have other games, you may wanna wait and see if you can get a lower price on it.

I dunno anything about HDMI cables. I need one myself. Tell me if you find out about them.

Nice collection of Gundams! :D

That sounds so... nom-ilicious. I want some.

There's a very well reviewed one on Amazon that's only ten bucks, so I'm leaning towards that one. That said, I need to get an HD monitor first. >:/

It wouldn't be too difficult to, say, make a huge batch of truffles for Katsucon. *winkwink* I'm going to post a poll to survey for flavourings.

SWEET. Thanks for the tip.

*MAJOR HUGZ* Also, I am jealous of your ability to have a kitchen during school tiems.

...And yes I spelled tiems like that on purpose.

I've been looking at the HDMI cable that you linked to, and I realized that I have no clue how long it is. It looks like people frequently buy an extender, so I am a bit leery that it may be quite short.
