what do i do now that i am done with college? make a zine about it, of course! studying and writing papers all the time inhibited my ability to create zines on the side, but now i'm unemployed and have plenty of spare time! title as yet undetermined, but the first issue is going to deal with being a mama in college, and all that goes along with ( Read more... )

I'd really like to send something- college with Kiddo was really something else.

I'm so bad about writing for a purpose- which is why, I think, that I studied painting. Maybe I'll find some old journal entries and drawings from that time. Can I mail you photocopies of something?

I found your journal through a maze of various people's friends' pages. I would like to submit. I am a single mom of two about to finish a BA in Ethnic Studies and applying to grad school. There are more details in my journal. I'll add you to my flist.
Are you still accepting stuff? What is your page limit? Will you accept electronic submissions? What formats? I have Word Perfect and apparently no one can open that.

yes! i set a deadline of 1/15 but i've only had one sub so far. you can email stuff to me at christiemama2002 at yahoo. i'm fairly certain that i can open word perfect. as for length, i haven't though about a limit, so just send me whatever and we'll make it work.

i'm 19, finishing up my sophomore year of college, and just found out yesterday that i'm pregnant. i don't yet know what i'm going to do, but i was just wondering if maybe you'd be willing to talk with me about this because i'd be really interested in hearing what you have to say about the matter.
