what do i do now that i am done with college? make a zine about it, of course! studying and writing papers all the time inhibited my ability to create zines on the side, but now i'm unemployed and have plenty of spare time! title as yet undetermined, but the first issue is going to deal with being a mama in college, and all that goes along with that. i know off the top of my head that a bunch of you (anitsirk, chocobotkid unemployia and icecreameyes come to mind...) have been in college as a mama, so write up something about how difficult it was to manage your time, find housing, deal with your peers or how it changed your thinking on motherhood, the academy, etc. i'll include some pieces from the personal narratives of my thesis and other musings now that it's all over and i'm feeling extremely disillusioned with the ivory tower, feminist academics and the futility of even getting a BA in political science and women's studies at all.

so, yeah, send me something if you like. no deadline, but let me know if you plan to submit.
