i think...despite what i say about my grown-up-ism, people still think i'm a child. so no worries.

i've definitely had the same experience with ring patterns on wooden furniture. my piano has some obscure patterns where the knots would make a face that wasn't too pleasing to the eye. i had to stare at it while I practiced haha.

that would deter me from practicing...though i still skipped on practicing a lot...hmm...nevermind. maybe it would keep me awake at the piano in fear of being eaten.
