Interesting new From ANN :

The January issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine is announcing on Saturday that Atsushi Ohkubo is launching a new Soul Eater manga series named Soul Eater Not! in the next issue. The new series will run alongside the main Soul Eater series on January 12, 2011.

...Whoa. Well, this is what I least expected to hear about...but this is TOTALLY AWESOME!!! I wonder if it'll focus on the inside stories of side characters or villains, or maybe even be prequels? *can't get enough of Soul's past* ^^

Either way...this is all AWESOME~ Can't wait for this AND the next chapter of Soul Eater! :D

I don't read the manga because I kind of always forget it exists (need to work on that), buuuuut...

...Pleasepleaseplease let it be a prequel series 'bout how the Death Scythes became, um, Death Scythes. With Yumi yelling at Stein for dissecting stuff and adorable bandagey little!Nygus and maybe finally meeting Maka's mom!

I mean, I know that's probably not the case, and never happening, but I've been wishing it would since I first saw the show. ^^;

(But whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be fun. :D)

I would love to see stories about Yumi and Stein's earlier run-ins. That's one of my favorite scenes, because Stein loses his cool for a moment, and Yumi is absolutely, totally unafraid of him and doesn't give a damn if he's mad. And this has been going on since they were kids!
