Ugh once again I find myself angry and disappointed by the Emmy nominations, I don't know why I even bother to expect anything different...*sigh*

YES OFC, I KNOW I WAS REALLY SUBTLE AND TRICKSY WITH THIS ONE...:p And oh man...IDK I'M JUST SO SCARED BECAUSE I DON'T WANT MY OTP MESSED UP AFTER IT WAS SUCH A BLESSING TO SEE IT BECOME CANON IN THE FIRST PLACE! ;_; BUT I WILL BUY IT SOON I PROMISE, LIKE AFTER I FINISH GRAD SCHOOL NEXT FRIDAY (HOLY SHIT BTW)!

But like, is it a decent book? Can you hint if the writing is as bad as the last two (barring A/H in TTP)? Last book I literally skipped all the non-A/H parts and hence read only about 50% of the book, lol...can you tell me that much?

I actually really enjoyed it, a lot more than AC (I was so focused on A/H in TTP that I didn't even notice the writing then). There was a fair bit that made me angry and roll my eyes, but I would read it again.

Oooh good to hear then, I feel more confidant now that I will enjoy it as well! :) And with TTP it was good until fucking Opal Koboi (who I am not looking forward to seeing her again, SMH GAH JUST DIE ALREADY WHY MUST YOU BE IN LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE EVEN-NUMBERED BOOK?!) showed up, and the Timey Wimey messiness of the end resolution, which I still don't fully understand...:s I feel a better focus on Young!Artemis as the only villain should have happened, but oh well.

And thanks! AND OMG THIS IS AN INTENSE STORM I'VE JUMPED A FEW TIMES AT THE THUNDER BOOMS AND THE LIGHTNING IS REALLY BRIGHT! D:

OMG YESSS YES IT IS YOU GOT IT RIGHT ON YOUR FIRST TRY! :DDD So glad somebody got that one after all, I was like, "Where are the Animorphs stans on my flist?" Four for you! (I forgot you had read them too).

Jake/Cassie were my first ever OTP, beginning my attraction for d00med ships, lol. I liked Rachel/Tobias okay too, but I was never as invested in that ship...probably because Jake and Cassie were also my favorite characters. I actually made a fanmix for J/C once (my first one--I need to get around to re-uploading it to a site like mediafire or something), and at one point in college I began a project of going through the e-books and recording all the J/C quotes for each book...

hahaha, here is something else we disagree on! I always liked Rachel/Tobias more, but that was because Tobias was my faaaaav. And Rachel was my second fav.

Yeah, IA, aside from the Blackwater speech I don't recall him being really outstanding...I feel though like in some ways he stands out just because he is a "dwarf" who can actually act really well? I think I've heard that the whole show only got the green-light to happen once they had confirmed he was on board...

And so true...I mean I mostly try to ignore the Emmys at least, but it's hard sometimes...

Fuck the Emmy's lol. Annoyed that they keep on ignoring Simon Baker just because The Mentalist is procedural.

Lol, tbh I think it's more likely they keep on ignoring Simon Baker because he's on a drama that is NOT on cable TV! ;) Generally the drama category is fully taken up by cable shows, like they don't even look on network TV unless as a last resort, especially in recent years. And I do remember the woman in "The Good Wife" getting a nod a few years back, and that's a proceduralish thing too. It's stupid.

About time Jaimie was a POV character, Cersei as well...I kept flipping through looking for new people with book 2, and was disappointed to see only Theon and Davos added.

Yes, I hear her storyline gets boring, but at this point I like her. The one I wouldn't mind seeing offed is Jon Snow because GOD is he so whiny and irritating and useless...and for a storyline with Wildlings the Wall has the capacity to be SO boring most of the time...:s
