(Got here through Holmeslash) I want to say that I have enjoyed your reviews so far. I have only watched the episodes once and now will go back to watch again. It's interesting to find out that many of the questions I have had regarding the sets, clothes, translations, behaviors, etc, etc about this series are being discussed. Having alek_morse's insight as well as yours is wonderful. I hope you keep reviewing.
I'm glad you've enjoyed my reviews :) this week I plan to do some more in-depth stuff including take a few pictures of the modern day locations (if I remember :P) just for comparison.
Don't worry, I've been doing random things this week and haven't been able to sit down and do the in-depth thing I said I would. It will get done, just might take a it longer as I'm going to be doing an article for the Sherlock Holmes Society Journal (not on the Russian series,a completely unrelated matter

I really wouldn't have know that Lestrade was dubbed. It's fantastically done. I certainly see what you mean about the Russians being excellent dubbers - I'm very impressed. I knew that Moriarty was dubbed (might have read that on the Baker Street Dozen web site), but would never have known about Lestrade

I'll have to try to find some photographs of the interior for you. Whilst I'm not sure too sure it looked like it was pictured in the film, I think it's good enough in detail with the peeling paper, run down looking building and cramped office space to get the idea
