On this very lovely day you'll be thrilled to hear that I spent 98% of today inside cleaning the crystals on a chandelier. The other 2% of the time accounts for setting up/taking down the scaffolding (manual labour at 10am on a Sunday *thud*) and an hour eating a delicious lunch on one of those restaurant boats on the Thames

Finding mistakes is fun, usually we only notice mistakes when we switch it back on and it (a) doesn't work (b) goes BANG or (c) makes a funny noise (or we only notice during the show...)

Making thinks sparkle is fun, it was a little sad though when we had to switch off the lights once we were done. I wanted to put up a sign saying "the chandelier has been cleaned, please show your appreciation." as I doubt anyone will actually notice.

There's a boat moored off near Waterloo Bridge that does the best steak sandwiches in London. They're simply amazing.
