I'm in the money

Mar 30, 2008 03:15

This week has been an interesting week, what with the llama-mation an all... I lost a £1 at the beginning of the week in a bet, but soon won it back on Thursday. In a rather geek-y way (although I would like to state that I don't think that I am geek; geeks are often helpful in pub quizzes, I am not ( Read more... )

Way to win a bet! *is impressed*

I'd certainly read a story about Watson dragging Holmes along to a medical conference.

Ooh, I love the idea of Holmes being dragged to a medical conference and being bored to death (of course, Watson would have to being giving a speech there or something and is getting lots of attention). I think that would be an awesome story. *warily eyes the plot hedgehog creeping across my room*

And congratulations on winning the bet, btw. Go you!

*sits back glassy-eyed, plotting*

Lol, I keep coming up with Holmes either not going in the first place, or alternately making sure he'll end up as the center of attention. The guy is a curtain hog, after all. Watson would have to threaten him pretty good to make him lay off boasting his powers. Besides, with Watson's luck, surely a crime would happen, and then Watson's time in the limelight would be over, lol.

Congrats on winning the bet! (My own Trek-geek-days are over, so I'm glad to find I would have known that bit of trivia, too. Sigh. Times were when I could identify an episode by a single still.)

That'd make a great story, particularly as poor Watson would be in a pissy mood for the entire story and Holmes would have a lot of making up to do afterwards!

lol! cheers to you for winning! as you know, there's much money to be had betting on all the actors who showed up on TOS. I love there are fifty squadillion blogs devoted to adoring the hot chicks of TOS. Who thought chin to ankle jump suits was a good idea?

But, to your question, I like the fic idea. There's no reason one of those Doctors couldn't get bumped off to add a dash of crime to the mix.
Oooh, toss in a hot young, proto-Quincy and let the sparks fly.

I might start boning up on my Trek trivia in case more money making opportunities arise!

I look forward to seeing your story :) :)
