IMO, the easiest is to schedule an appt at the Genius Bar. Just tootle over to apple.com/retail and choose the store you want to go to and reserve an appointment. I think this is easier than calling, since the troubleshooting is usually faster, and also Banana Republic is right next door at The Domain. So you can go pick out an outfit to wear post-maternity clothes! :)

mhm....if you've got a laptop it's usually easier to mail it in, which is what the genius bar will do anyway. also, if it's shutting down randomly there's only a few things it can be. you did update all your software, right?

You girls are so responsible! damn. but you're both right, it is the best move. I'll do it as soon as this sound design job I worked on is approved and I know I won't need the laptop for any work. OY. not a lot of fun...
I updated all software that was free to upgrade... :)
YES, it is my new favorite place to eat. They have a new thing on the menu: a half bird. It's a normal burrito but half as stuffed and yet it stuffs me just perfectly without making me barfy overfull like the regular birds. wow, want me to write a paragraph about burritos and my love for them? Apparently I can. HA.
I'll hit the apple store to look at it and then they'll mail it in for me. PAINNNNNN in the butt, tho.
Getting drunk when you're with someone is like falling asleep: you go someplace they can't follow.
Wow, that's exactly it - thank you for expressing it so eloquently... and I'm sad that I understand that statement.
BUT... if you have to send your computer off to get it fixed, you can borrow my old Powerbook until yours comes back. It pretty much just sits here unless Mer comes over anyway. :)
Loved seeing you the other day, so random, and at Freebirds no less! I was there with a group of guys from the place I am doing contract work, that was day one. Scary.
I just bought an iMac, and will never look back. I have a MacBook Pro on the way as well, compliments of my new job. Eventually, I will relegate the intel based windows doorstops to web duty only.
It was great to see you, too! You looked great and happy which was nice to see. That was a big group of guys! Contract work is good, though. :)
MacBook Pros make me drool. I'm jealous! I've been a mac girl since before I was old enough to have my own laptop, and I'll never be sad to not be in the Windows World. Mmmmm appples....

You are SO sweet and I really might take you up on that. As we all know, I might explode without a laptop by my side!
