IMO, the easiest is to schedule an appt at the Genius Bar. Just tootle over to apple.com/retail and choose the store you want to go to and reserve an appointment. I think this is easier than calling, since the troubleshooting is usually faster, and also Banana Republic is right next door at The Domain. So you can go pick out an outfit to wear post-maternity clothes! :)

mhm....if you've got a laptop it's usually easier to mail it in, which is what the genius bar will do anyway. also, if it's shutting down randomly there's only a few things it can be. you did update all your software, right?

You girls are so responsible! damn. but you're both right, it is the best move. I'll do it as soon as this sound design job I worked on is approved and I know I won't need the laptop for any work. OY. not a lot of fun...
