I am of two minds. I walk around like this, with my two minds, and it's okay.
I'm of two minds about last night, when my husband made a new friend and drank himself silly. Half of me is so happy for him and his new pal, the other half sad for myself that he got so very drunk. Getting drunk when you're with someone is like falling asleep: you go someplace they can't follow.
I am of two minds about this maternity leave thing. If the baby is really 2 weeks late I'm using up a month of my paid leave before he even arrives. Of course, if he's early or on time then I'll be grateful for these few days of down time before he changes our world.
And then there's this: my computer is broken, in that it shuts down randomly and frequently. I should make use of applecare and bring it in and get it fixed, but that will leave me without a computer for awhile so I should ditch this and go into debt for a new Macbook Pro. Two minds.
Both minds want me to eat lunch now, so Freebirds, here I come.
