Resident Status

My life is just great. The day I went to turn my residenct status change application in to the college, I discovered that the last day to turn it in had been a week ago. When I read "last day of academic term," I assumed that meant the last day of classes, as in the final day of exams

That sucks. However! Can you now be like "okay, I missed the deadline for the spring semester, so here's my application REALLY REALLY EARLY for the summer semester"? That IS probably why they kept your supporting materials -- they're assuming that you DO want your record considered for a subsequent semester. I 'm guessing they're not so much trying to make you feel bad as that they kinda feel sorry for you and want to help, in their own special non-policy-breaking sort of way, you know?
