Let's discuss the importance of voting
My mother taught me that it's every citizen's duty to vote in every general election they're eligible to vote in, and preferably every primary election as well. It's come to my attention that at least two of my friends disagree, and that at least one of those chose not to vote. Captions and gender
I've noticed that commercials often identify their spokesbot in the captions as "male announcer" or "female announcer". My first thought was that the announcer's gender (as guessed by the captionist) is generally irrelevant, and that identifying it is nothing but sexism. Captions
Don't put the captions at the top of the screen unless you have a damn good reason. It's annoying as all hell when it covers the faces.

Sandwich
The Mediterranean roasted vegetable sandwich from Cenan's bakery is a flavor explosion. Wow. I had them too often for a while and got sick of them, but thankfully I no longer am! FYI, I get mine without the cheese. The weather is incredibly beautiful today, so I took a short walk to/on/from the W&OD trail before lunch.
