Wonderful story. It's sweet, sad, but full of hope for both them, because they have each other now, and because Steve isn't going to give up on Tony. Drug addition is a terrible thing and in my experience you need someone close to you to be able to turn your back to drug and go back in the life. So well done, thanks for sharing with us. :)

I wish to prompt something else with this theme on the avengerkink, but I doubt it would be picked up, as on over 70 prompts of mine just 4 of them were picked up. I still hope to read something else on this theme, which is close to me in some way.

Thank you, I'm very glad you liked the story! I have experience with addiction as well, so the theme is very close to my heart. I'm working on a lot of different things right now, but I might consider writing more in this 'verse down the road. Unfortunately there are just way too many prompts that go unfilled on that meme. :/

Oh my gosh, this was written wonderfully. It pulled at the heartstrings terribly, but so did the original movie that this is based off. I nearly cried at some parts of this story, because of how bad off Tony was, but thankfully Steve was able to save him in time. Absolutely terrific job, I loved this.
