* I put more references into EndNote tonight, to make the citations/bibliography easy (or easier) to insert when the time comes. So far I'm up to about 100, and I'm nowhere near done. I'm wondering if I have too many references. Most are journal articles and book chapters, not whole books though ( Read more... )

Alter-egos rule! Alas, that contemptible Kipron no longer gives me screen time.

I have to make a living writing ALDI catalogues. Blast. >:(

"I have to make a living writing ALDI catalogues"

That explains the curses and/or deathwishes printed in the catalogue every Thursday, in microscopic print =P

Blergh! You need more rest, boy. And I don't like the fact that you haven't been eating properly of late! Tut tut!

It is awesome that you don't have work for a week. What do you plan on doing in the meantime?

Yay for the return of inkers! :)

You are most wise for writing up your bibliography as you go. Writing it after the fact is not fun!

About inkers - Indeed :)

I am so paranoid about not referencing my sources - it's been drilled into me! I'm afraid I'll forget something, or to quote someone, or where a certain bit is from - so it does help to get organised at this stage, even though I might not use all the references. Also, knowing me, after I finish writing, it'll be a bit of a mad scramble to get the bibliography together, make a cover page (we're allowed to have pictures/graphics on the cover and a cool title for our theses), name the chapters, etc. so I'm trying to put some forethought into the process (a novel concept, hehe).

If inkers = Alison, then I saw her at Uni the other day. I was talking to a friend at the time and didn't get to say hello, sadly.

For the sore throat I reccommend fresh ginger chopped up in tea, with a generous addition of honey and lemon.

Yep, inkers is Alison.

That brew sounds absolutely delicious! Atm I only have grated ginger in a jar, no fresh ginger. Any specific kind of tea?

i make what we call "horrid"
chopped garlic and ginger, with lemon and honey. no tea necessary.
it is called horrid because if you have a cold, you are supposed to drink it and then eat all the bits of ginger and garlic.
but as a drink, it is nice, and for a sore throat, eatingness is not called for.

Not really. I assume anything would work, in terms of medicinal properties, since it's the ginger, honey and lemon that'll really do their magic on the throat. Black or green, I assume.
