If only writing an essay were as easy as drawing a picture. With drawing, another part of me takes over, and although I'm thinking, I'm not really thinking - I'm guided by instinct and god knows what else. * I put more references into EndNote tonight, to make the citations/bibliography easy (or easier) to insert when the time comes. So far I'm up to about 100, and I'm nowhere near done. Urgh. My perma-cold took a turn for the worse last night. ( cut for whinge )

Went to uni to borrow books and get my essays back. Yet again, I ended up borrowing more books than I can carry (12). The book I really wanted, The Cyborg Handbook, of which MQ library only had one copy, is missing. Grrr! Sooo...it's official.

I got a letter from MQ saying that I've got an extension for my thesis, which is now due on the 28th of June 2006. It's a relief, even though I knew I'd get it.

I'm so easily distracted! Today I did three loads of washing - we literally had nothing left to wear -, made a big bowl of lentil, pea and barley soup/stew, and proceeded to eat it all. 21st of September - 26th of October - Taking leave from work.

30th of September - Thesis draft due.

21st of October - Thesis due.

28th of October - Major assessments for coursework subjects due.

Gah. Gah! Gah! I'm meeting my supervisor tomorrow, and I feel utterly unprepared. I might not get to finish this essay by tomorrow night, which is what I was aiming for. 4,000 words just seems really daunting and insurmountable.
