I did get a flu shot, but I got it while I was still kind of unwell from a
cold, so I think this is my punishment =(

The thesis points sound cool - good, solid cultural studies-type things. Write like the wind! (if, y'know, the wind could write theses)

Haha yes, so hopefully, after the swimming-through-treacle process of writing the first chapter, I can relax a bit and write about new, funexciting stuff, like anime!

Y'know, I really wish I'd gone the route of writing a fictional thesis. It may be harder to "do well", but I can always squeeze some fiction out of head, whereas theory just eats my brain.

Have you been in touch with Kylie? Is she on her merry way, at last?
