I must admit that I've always been horrible with gloves. I always lose one, just one. March in Colorado would be a pain as I'd lose gloves and the shops would be stocking spring clothes despite the two feet of snow out there. The Army/Navy store near work and home that sold decent, not too expensive, gloves year-round literally was a lifesaver.
We can sometimes find very cheap Thinsulate gloves (as in a couple of pounds each) in the street market here on Saturdays. We're off to London this weekend, but I could look next Saturday if you wish.

Yes, about £40. When I bought the originals they were about £16, which wasn't bad, but this is ridiculous.
