somedays i want to lay in bed and just listen to the rain. maybe someday i can wake up late in the afternoon, wake to a fire and make some hot cup of coffee and spend most of the day reading and playing board games with the people i love.

i've had a hard time just being focused. there's been a lot of new discussions, ideas, and people coming into my life. even within the newness of life, i still have a hard time really being caught up in what i'm doing. most things i do at school just seem like a task, something to get over and not necessarily enjoy while doing.

i couldn't hold to my year long moratorium of live journal.

a stressful week at school. juli's wedding has come and gone and i'm still standing.

I've decided to not actively write or read live journal for a year. i will return in next September. Peace out live journal friends.

hanging out with folks in western nc. visiting my friend scott in waynesville for his birthday. it's been fun hanging out with folks, making cup cakes, singing by the fire, playing games on the grass like bombs and shields, and talking till the late night.

tomorrow is my last sunday here at first umc of birmingham, mi. i'm doin' night security for from 2-6am and then helpin' to cook breakfast from 6-8.30, then worship services till 11. i'll be awake from now till tomorrow afternoon, since i seem not to be able to go to sleep ( Read more... )

saw five hundred days of summer. made me ache a little bit in the heart...well..a lot, especially the roof party scene. love of buildings made me remember my past life in architecture.
