it feels good to be in nc. i feel strangely hopeful...i'm not sure how to describe it, but things are falling into place. old friends are popping back into my life and making new friends.
i have a new canine friend named allie, who i met in stone mountain while returning from the anarchist christian conference in memphis, tn.
i was able to speak to john zerzan and he was pretty kind. he has a humble soul. i told him that i appreciated him even coming to the conference, since most anarchists avoid christians. he told me that he really appreciated the event and said that people were more respectful than most anarchist gatherings he's been too.
i'm singin' with the gospel choir tomorrow and then sitting on a panel of students to answer questions for the new incoming students at duke divinity.
i'll probably wake up early and go for a walk with allie. it's interesting how differently people engage you when you walk with a dog.
it's also been super neat to live with jonathon and living next to my friend tyler.
