What to do, what to do

So, the Atlantian University class schedule came out, and I am interested in ..... nothing. That is getting more and more usual.  I think I am headed to Potomac Celtic Festival that day then.  It shouldn't be hard to convince my mother to go with me and the kids.  Since I think Siegfried will be going to University.  Although maybe no, since he is ( Read more... )

What sort of classes would you like to take?

Since I'm planning a day of classes, I can try to get something you're interested in.

I'm just not into classes right now. Sort of an ennui thing I guess. I have so much clutter around the house that I do not need to find a new hobby to take up. I like taking my occasional basket weaving class with the county. I like having the time to sit and chat/talk while working on a project. In that, your last symposium was nice in that I got a lot of handsewing done, even if I was so stressed out over teh van and the wiper issue and the travelling.

One thing I think I would like is to work on your turkish sock method/pattern, but I am not sure I want that in a class setting, you know?

I'm in the opposite boat... there are TOO MANY classes I want to do this time and I don't have time for them all. Four dance classes, one heraldry, one onomastics, two hours of Choir, *and* the two classes I'm teaching... oops, that's ten hours out of the available six. This is why I was so upset at Winterversity being snowed out.

For me, the issue is more like: do I want to drive about four hours one-way to take the classes I want to take and have a luncheon meeting with fellow heralds. On one level I really want to go, but it's a huge hike and I need to be at church that Sunday morning. Plus, it's the weekend before Storvik Novice, and as a baronial officer that is a huge deal for me....
