To whom it may concern: I am wearing a pair of jeans I dug out of my closet this morning. I hadn't worn them in years because I couldn't fit into them. I kind of like this because it means I might possibly not have to buy new pants :D

I am glad the teeth thing went so successfully well! It is always nice to have surgery go better than expected! Everything else sounds fun/nice as well (aside from the not being in Bloomington part of course). Also, in reference to your earlier post, I concur with your mom - no to the mushrooms!!!

Much agreed--I hadn't had surgery before, so I had no frame of reference to rely on! I'm glad that I'm only now having surgery for the first time at my age, and that it was something relatively minor (one of my friends had brain surgery over the summer--not cancer, thank fuck, but pretty ordealtastic as it was). On the minus side, I am concerned that my lower socket is possibly trying to be infected (and I've been syringing it out like I'm supposed to, really). I know Dr Oral Surgeon said I'd know if I got an infection because I'd be in pain, but with my pain tolerance, by the time I feel what I call pain, it could be exponentially more horrible than it might otherwise be. (No pain, no discomfort, just some sensitivity, but it's sensitivity that wasn't there before and has gotten more pronounced. I'd rather look stupid for freaking out over my body's healing process than for ignoring an infection
