I Don't Know If I'm Really Back But I Feel Like Writing Something

To whom it may concern: I am wearing a pair of jeans I dug out of my closet this morning. I hadn't worn them in years because I couldn't fit into them. I kind of like this because it means I might possibly not have to buy new pants :D

Much agreed--I hadn't had surgery before, so I had no frame of reference to rely on! I'm glad that I'm only now having surgery for the first time at my age, and that it was something relatively minor (one of my friends had brain surgery over the summer--not cancer, thank fuck, but pretty ordealtastic as it was). On the minus side, I am concerned that my lower socket is possibly trying to be infected (and I've been syringing it out like I'm supposed to, really). I know Dr Oral Surgeon said I'd know if I got an infection because I'd be in pain, but with my pain tolerance, by the time I feel what I call pain, it could be exponentially more horrible than it might otherwise be. (No pain, no discomfort, just some sensitivity, but it's sensitivity that wasn't there before and has gotten more pronounced. I'd rather look stupid for freaking out over my body's healing process than for ignoring an infection.)

I've come to like 'shrooms as an adult, but they're not everybody's thing--I think we'll have eggplant bolognese instead of mushroom bolognese. As a concession to lolmom, of course ^_-

OT is still kicking everyone's ass, but there are signs of light at the end of the tunnel--we had lower quotas this week and weekend work was on a volunteer basis (I didn't volunteer. YEAAAAAHHHHH), so hopefully it will be over by Thanksgiving. (Watch as I hex myself XD)
