Trying to feel Christmasy

I will be at the Alley in Boston tonight, at the door, so stop by for a peck on the cheek from Santa. I may even buy you a drink!

I'm not feeling that Christmasy. I need a good job, a lover, a vacation, and respect. That'll all come. You don't know what an optimist I am.

Eroticism, humor, casual intercourse (social that is) are ways that we deal with stress in this fractured post-modern culture and society. So I am happy that my picture turns you on, in the same moment I might be worrying about my brother or whatthefuck we are doing in Iraq and who we are harming. I sure appreciate that, John. It was a treat to see your performance and get to meet you and your (really cute!) partner, if only briefly. Thanks for the compliments on the pics, I took these Santa pics in Oakland a couple of years ago, after my office Christmas party.

I got a little glow when you said you respected me, that is great. I ran straight to Itunes and checked, yes, "All Over You" is the most-played tune on my list. You're quite a talent, and it's great that you are a member of this community. (I know, just a humble music teacher, but you do have "it", for me).
