Dude, finally I get to see a new SPN ep when everyone else does.
Such an awesome show. Who loved Ava? I thought she was fab and funny. I love guest characters who are actually good, natural actors. It should be a given, but just watch a few eps of Numb3rs and you'll see this is not always the case. My mother still heartily dislikes Ellen, but while ( Read more... )

... uh, wow. I think that Buffy the Vampire Slayer cover is the first time the words "Xander" and "guh" have coexisted in the same sentence for me (... yeah, I'm more of a Giles girl, guilty as charged). But still, what a guh. o_o Remind me that it's insane to buy into comic books for the cover art alone, plzkthnx?

Also, as a recent convert to the Supernatural love, this week's Dean brotherly devotion bit kills me dead. It's always been family first for him and, yeah, that hits a lot more of my buttons than I'd expected.

Oh, Ava. She was fantastic. You're right about the difference between guest stars on Supernatural and Numb3rs; hell, the regulars on Numb3rs have lost enough of their sparkle these days that I often have difficulty thinking about them as human beings, too. *facepalm*

Damn it, I don't have a Supernatural or a Buffy icon, so here's Bruce Willis and Mos Def running away from an off-screen man that looks a heck of a lot like Tritter. <3

Yay, Giles! Tony Head is a good guy. I was moderately excited about the Buffy comic before, but that Xander just pushed it into extreme excitement. If I were Nick Brendan, I would ask the artist for a special print of that illustration. But oh no, I would never buy it just for the cover. ;-)

Whoever's in charge of casting on Numb3rs cannot pass go or collect $200. Oy.

I always meant to see 16 Blocks in theatres (mostly for David Morse, of course), but never got around to it. I definitely need to remember to catch it on DVD or cable. ::ties ribbon to finger::

That first scene between the boys is my favourite in the episode; Dean begging Sam really did it for me.

I liked Ava a lot too; she truly was awesome *g*
