My brother and his spontaneous overnight trips to Vegas. ::breezing out the door at 9pm:: "Off to Vegas, I'll be back tomorrow, you won't even notice I'm gone!" ::shakes head and laughs:: Next time I'm definitely ordering him to bring me a few casino chips for kicks.

Sam and Nell are love; they are currently battling with Sam and Kensi for cutest Sam dynamic on the show. I can't imagine Sam with either of them; but I love Sam and how he deals with women. There is so much respect and playfulness while being protective without overstepping anyone's boundaries.
And I am thrilled that Sam and G's marriage only gets stronger as the show goes on and the show isn't afraid to show it.:)
Hawaii Five 0 news could go either way with me; I wish they brought her in when the writers have a better handle on Kono and Chin; we will see how this changes everything. I can see this changing the Steve and Danny dynamic but hopefully it will be positive.

SO MUCH YES. In the last scene of last night's episode, everything you needed to know was on Sherman's face. And you're so right about NCIS:LA improving on the music front.
I'm still sad that Eric has fewer lines, but Nell has been slowly winning me over. ♥SAM♥!
I agree that TPTB should have given the original team a chance to settle before bringing in someone new, so I am mostly in "wait and see" mode for the new H50 character. Thankfully they chose an actress I'm familiar with and like. I just hope she fits in well with the team (she seems like more of an office type rather than an field agent type, so hopefully that will minimize redundancy and her taking lines from Kono or Chin), and since I'm such a multi-shipper, if she happens to have chemistry with everyone, that's great, too.

My classic movies list would be: How Green Was My Valley, Twelve O'Clock High, Leave Her To Heaven, Spartacus, and All About Eve. Easy peasy. (Tho there are at least 50 more movies that I'd dither over including. *g*)

Oooo, excellent choices! Whenever I think of Spartacus, I think of Tony Curtis' line "For the children of my master whom I also taught the classics" and LOL because his New York accent really came out. ;-)
