Happy Memorial Day to you too! :)

Those are really cool feathers you found - cute fox plushies, too!

My room at my parent's house gets really hot this time of year, too...my stepmom loves to blame it on my plushies, but my dad and I both know it's cuz the AC vent in my wall is messed up and doesn't even produce enough cool air.

Thanks! =D

And haha, I think the air circulation is ateast decent in my room but the windows basically negate its effects unless it's at night. If I close the blinds its alot cooler but then it's really dark in here. (They are the kind of blinds that block sunlight completely.)

Glad the visit with your friend went well...:3

Be careful who you show those Owl feathers too. I know at one point it was illegal to own any bird of prey feathers, even if you find them. I too have some, but I keep them out of sight.

Parrots seem to adapt well to warmer weather. Just watch him getting exposed to a draft. My apartment gets pretty toasty during the day for I get hit with the direct sunlight.

Me too. ^^

And ah, I was worried about that. When we saw them we didn't know that they were owl feathers,he said it was probably from a bird that got attacked by something else.

I was hoping that wasn't the case and when I looked up owls that would be native to that area, the Barred Owl showed up. Maybe it swooped down to the ground for something and lost a few feathers that way?

There was only those four there. I used to have a big Canadian Goose feather but that eventually got damaged so I had to get rid of it.

I certainly didn't mean to cause harm, i'll probably avoid posting any other photos of feathers I find. Is it illegal to have other native bird feathers or only birds of prey?

Cody's cage is against a wall in between the two windows, so I think the temperature stays pretty consistent. Good point though.

Birds naturally molt feathers as you know. The bird of prey feathers I have, I stumbled upon them in the woods and their was no bird to be seen. Either they were molted or pulled out during a struggle ( ... )
