No, I know you didn't mean to cause harm. I just said something for I didn't want you to get into trouble. You can keep them, just be careful showing them off...;)

They say to look and not touch.
Another site online said if you can legally buy the feathers of a particular species in a store or off the net, then that bird isn't protected under the law.
I tend to keep the pieces of nature I find tucked away in a draw for my own protection. Plus, it helps to keep everything in good condition. I have snake skin, bird nests, skulls and bones that I found on the ground over the years. That kind of stuff has always fascinated me...:3
I lost count how many times the Bird Talk magazines mentioned keeping birds away from drafts.
