Just last week it was the three of them, on stage, playing together. It's a happy memory, one of her better ones, but now it also hurts a little.
They'd talked about getting a band together, about what would happen if someone disappeared. Figured it had to be him.
Her smile does soften a little when he joins in with her. His playing and company is always welcomed after all.]
