Teyla is shocked when she sees the ghostly image of a woman in the corridors of Atlantis. The woman is an Ancient in appearance but, initially at least, no one else can see her. A different beginning - with John, Ronan, and Radek! Ronan is not having a good time - he's all sulky and pouty. John says Teyla is going to give Ronan meditation lessons. That gave me a bit of a laugh. Even more when we saw a lesson, and Ronan had fallen asleep ( ... )

Teyla has a conversation with Dr. Kate, and then Dr. Kate has a conversation with Elizabeth. I guess dr/patient confidentiality isn't something they worry about on this show. But, then Elizabeth sees the burned man, and the next we know Teyla, Elizabeth and Kate are all talking about the apparitions. Kate convinces them that they are seeing things because of tiredness, among other reasons ( ... )

I have to admit to feeling a little dizzy from the quick scene changes, especially in the first half of the episode. They either got better during the second half, or I got used to them. *g*

Still, it made for a fast paced episode. And, even though all the scenes seemed very disjointed at the beginning, the writers did manage to pull them all together in a nice whole during the course of the episode.

I thought it interesting that Rodney and John never saw any apparitions, and that except for in the puddle jumpers, they weren't affected by the whales' warnings. Everyone else was - except Ronon's ears and nose never bled> I'm not sure if they weren't affected because they had been already, so their ears were numb during the worst of it, or what.

I liked this episode, and the interactions between the crew. It was also nice to see so much of the cast within one episode. Sometimes we can go weeks without seeing some of them, but I think we got all of the major players during this episode.
