LAST FIC WRITER STANDING - CHANGES FOR THE FOURTH EDITION
For this LFWS challenge I'll be adding a few things.
WARM UP ROUND
Before the actual first round we'll be doing a warm up round. In the warm up round there will be no elimination. It is not obligatory to participate in this and skips will NOT be used if you stay out of this round. It is just a fun way to start things without fear of not going forward, because it kinda sucks being eliminated in the first challenge.
It also works to make new writers get accustomed to the format of challenge and with receiving crit to improve style and giving readers what they want.
The prompt for the warm up round will be slightly different from the usual prompts we have and the deadline will be extended. I want to give the writers a chance to really try to get out of your comfort zones without having the doom of elimination hanging above your heads, so be prepared for it.
COMEBACK ROUND
At the middle of the run of the overall challenge, there'll be the comeback round. In this round, only the writers that were eliminated will participate. All of them will be given a new chance to write a groundbreaking fic and try to come back to active status. The winner will be able to participate of the next challenge and any subsequent ones until he/she gets eliminated again.
Be sure not to miss this round!
TO HURT, OR NOT TO HURT?
This challenge will not be hurt/comfort specific or oriented to write any H/C stories. However, anyone can write H/C fics if you wish so as long as the story fits the prompt of the round.
FIC HEADERS
Since I'm tired of adding and/or editing headers of the fics, I'll be giving all of you the default header that must be used to deliver all fics. Please, use this in all of your fics. *begs*
In addition to that, I'll only be accepting fics through e-mail instead of comments. It makes things a lot easier for me to organize. DO NOT FORGET to include the HTML formatting. If the formatting is not included I won't be able to know where you want italics or bold since I do not have a magic wand or a crystal ball.
From now on, all you'll have to do is copy the form below, complete it with the fic info and the fic itself, then past it all to a word document and attach it to an e-mail to be sent to me. You'll receive my e-mail address as you sign up to the challenge. If you do not receive the e-mail with the sign up confirmation until the end of the sign up period send me a PM.

PIMPING
The rules for pimping remain the same as in the last round. This means that each signed up writer receives one automatic skip in signing up and can gain up to a max of 4 skips total. Skips are gained by advertising the comm anywhere in LJ (and LJ only!).
We will not accept pimping outside of Livejournal anymore.
Also, I'm changing the format of the pimp post because of time constraints. This new post is easier for me or anyone else to edit to fit whatever purpose without the need to use Photoshop all the time.
