Oh, sweet! The Team, just being together. And LotR, it fits together perfectly. Warm and lovely, and hopeful, and it was just what I needed. Thank you.
+beams+ You're welcome! I actually started writing an angst-ridden post Siege II fic earlier for this challenge but it stalled. I'm glad about that now. +lol+
I'm so tired at the moment with all the work and all the stuff I should be doing that sometimes I forget how much fun fandom can be and how badly I want to see more McShep.
That was lovely. I especially liked that it was from Teyla's point of view. Made the McKShep relationship seem a little warmer and more poignant. Great fic dude :-)
Teyla has this feel to her that makes her seem very wise when it comes to human interaction, doesn't she? I guess it might come with being a leader under the constant threat of the Wraith, but it really works for her.
This was just so, so sweet. And like jonathlee told me when I pointed him towards this fic, I love the fact that so many slash authors treat Teyla's character with respect, even though she's the most obvious female rival for Shep's affections.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I just couldn't see myself treating her any other way. I've always liked Teyla, even when she might be seen as being in the wrong [LfP] because that makes her human. I like all of the main characters plus Carson, Radek, and even Bates though. Kavanagh? There is no hope for me liking him...+grins+
Also, charm +10 John from Rising aside [which really, we know the reason for that], I haven't really seen anything between the two of them that can been seen as having romantic under/over tones...especially with how she acted downright bemused when John was rambling over having a picnic w/ Chaya. I mean, seriously, Rodney was acting a lot more jealous, man. +lol+
