I really enjoyed this- it made me think of last month's cherry blossoms, and generally of summer. Just lovely.

The jasmine is blooming right now and I knew I wanted to put that experience in a story somehow. This one seemed to fit. :)

"Quit pollinating me," Rodney says

And he calls Ronon "flower boy"! Brave little Rodney. *g* I do like fics like this, and you totally captured the lazy, almost surreal atmosphere.

Meditate until the blossoms fall."
John looks down at Rodney, a frown creasing his face. "No," they say together and can't stifle the giggles.

*snicker* Of course they say "no". They're having too much fun. And Teyla as cockblocker in this is kind of amusing. The way she makes them all meditate and John can feel everyone's emotions, and I totally get the idea that they've been "blessed." It comes through clearly.

Also the nice little bit of John/Rodney at the end when the pollen has mostly worn off is sweet. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, Rodney just loves to live dangerously. :)

Teyla was originally not going to interrupt the guys, but then she popped into my head, sternly saying, "Ceremony first. Sex after." She keeps the guys in line so well.

Glad you enjoyed it!

oh, I like this. It's all sleepy-slowspun and soothing, sunny and sweet. Makes me want to sit under the flowering trees and wait in stillness until the rabbits nibble my toes.

Oh, yeah. Well, I think the rabbit nibbling would freak me out, but everything else, yeah!

Thanks!
