2016 friending meme!

Apr 05, 2016 10:03

Alright, in the hopes of pumping some much-needed life back into this shabby comm, how's about a friending meme? Everyone loves making new pals, right? Riiiight??? Guess we're about to find out...

I added a TV show question to the list, thanks to alorarose bringing that omission to my attention. I am sorry I fail at modding and memes, y'all. But we have ( Read more... )

Vaidah!!! How ya been, hon? I used to have LJ notes for hundreds of people's names when I had a paid account, but even without them, I never forget yours cuz it's so unique and pretty!

Last December, I watched it for the first time in so long, and it was absolutely as hilarious as I remember! That movie is a cinematic gem, IMO!

I let my paid account lapse too. So now I'm flying notes blind and icon deprived :( and thank you *blushes*

Been busy, it's my busy season at work, but am going on vacation in two weeks and seeing one of the bands I love! It's been good, XD

On the plane home from Iceland, in January, I watched When Harry Met Sally and While You Were Sleeping. SO MUCH NOSTALGIA!

What about you?

How did I never realize you're from Norway, like vetica? Anyway, the names of your fave songs are so pretty that I wanna go check all of them out! And cheese? YUMMMMMM. I've met one person IRL who doesn't like cheese, and I'm just so baffled by her. How can someone NOT like cheese?!

You say "crap" a lot? That is seriously cute. And oooh, time travel would be such an awesome power. I'd probably go back to the 1940s and never come back. I love that era! What time period would you most like to travel back to?

naginis April 5 2016, 18:40:54 UTC
Ahah, yeah. I only know of him and I from Norway :3
You must check them out! I have them on repeat!
Cheese is the best :D

I'm not sure if I would say I say it a lot, since I mostly speak Norwegian, but I feel like I think it in my head a lot. :P

Idk, I was more thinking to go back so I could do things I've done in life differently. But if I had to choose a time period, maybe early 90's?

Awww, you think in English sometimes? I remember there was a Russian maker who used to say she dreamed in English, which I found so interesting!

Oh, so changing things in your own past. I always wonder if I would change things if I could. So many regrets and a whole dark period that I wish I could have skipped. And yes, the '90s were THE BEST so that is an awesome era to choose!

I don't know why your comment got marked "suspicious" and screened. LJ is so dumb.

Anyway, you're from India? I feel like this is something I should know from having seen you fill out friending memes before. I must seriously have the memory of a goldfish.

Oooh, what's gulab jamuns? I iz curiousss!!! Also, you're 3 overused words are perfect.

5-10 LIPSTICKS?! In one purse?! WOWWWWW. I should stage an intervention!

Time travel is one of the all-time coolest powers, and I don't know why I've never thought of it as an answer before. What period would you most wanna travel back to? naginis wants the same power so if you guys can agree on an era, maybe you can hop timelines together! :D

LJ can be testing at times. -_-

Haha. It's no problem. I've only recently gotten okay with putting it out there. Before I was a little paranoid. :)

*cracks knuckles* PREPARE YO SELF. Gulab jamun is this insanely amazing Indian sweet that is made from milk solids which have been made into dough and this dough is then deep fried and soaked in this flavoured sugar syrup. I will not lie, it is a flavour party in your mouth! This is how this little ball of deep-fried heaven looks like. If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend checking out Indian sweets. :)

MY PURSE IS BIG OKAY?? I carry a medium-sized handbag and yes I do probably need an intervention. If a lipstick is missing from vanity, I know it's in my bag. ;_;

I am currently obsessed with the Mughal Empire, so it would be cool to check that time period about, but basically, I just want to skip through time without affecting the fabric of time and ending up in a Back To The Future type of situation. :D

I don't know why the eff LJ also screened the last comment you made. WTF?!

Ummm, I gotta try gulab jamun sometime cuz it sounds AMAZING.

Well if a zombie apocalypse ever occurs, I guess I know whose purse I could hide in! :D

Yeah, that's the scary part is hoping you don't screw up timelines by showing up where you're not supposed to be!

Awww, I used to watch Dead Like Me! There were some great characters on that show, all so diverse and quirky! I gotta watch S3-S5 of Chuck sometime. I loved the first 2 seasons and then just got lazy and stopped watching. Chuck was just the cutest thing ever!

On the Waterfront and Dog Day Afternoon are amazing movies! Another McAdams fan? Yay! Have you seen Spotlight? I really need to cuz it looks fantastic, and I wanna see Rachel's Oscar nommed performance. "DON'T STOP ME NOW" IS ONE OF THE FUNNEST SONGS IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC.

You have fantastic taste in food. That is all.

Does it rain a lot in your part of Brazil? I've never known anyone who carries an umbrella around, but that's probably cuz it never rains much in L.A.

Let's teleport together!!!
