It's been SO LONG since I've watched Overboard!! Such a fun movie.

Vaidah!!! How ya been, hon? I used to have LJ notes for hundreds of people's names when I had a paid account, but even without them, I never forget yours cuz it's so unique and pretty!

Last December, I watched it for the first time in so long, and it was absolutely as hilarious as I remember! That movie is a cinematic gem, IMO!

Been busy, it's my busy season at work, but am going on vacation in two weeks and seeing one of the bands I love! It's been good, XD

On the plane home from Iceland, in January, I watched When Harry Met Sally and While You Were Sleeping. SO MUCH NOSTALGIA!

Same here! I remember a lotta names but certainly not many when I think of the vast numbers I had access to with notes. Yours truly stands out tho!

Dude, I remember thinking I would hate romcoms as a kid, and then I loved When Harry Met Sally the very first time I saw it. Such a great movie!

I'm doing well in grad school. About halfway through my speech therapy Master's program and loving all the professors and friends I've met!

Yeah, going to Kansas City. It's quite hilarious actually. A friend is getting married this friday, but it's before the end of tax season, so I cannot go, it's in Austin. But our Icelandic friend is going. And the friend tells me that she's stopping in KC on the way back "and oh, by the way, Home Free has a concert in Topeka." So I go "DAMMIT!" Look up flights, they're cheap, so I say OKAY! Killing two birds with one stone because I'm also going to be seeing friends while I'm there. I find it funny that I see the Icelander more often than I see my local friends...

Were's seeing Home Free. They are a country acapella group. SO in love.

There are some really bad romcoms. SO BAD. But when they're good, they're really good. LOVED that movie.

Ohhh, you're going for speech therapy? My sister is a speech language pathologist! She loves it! Good luck with classes. I'm currently going for Accounting, heading towards getting my CPA.

It's been so long since I've heard anyone mention The Wedding Singer. It is such a sweet movie! I have a giant soft spot for it and it's one of the few movies in which I actually like Adam Sandler!

And of course, potatoes are the best. They could do no wrong, even if they tried. :D

Man, I just watched TWS again last year for the time in forever, and it was still so awesome and cute. Plus, it has such amazning '80s music! If you've never seen Big Daddy, I rec that, too. Those are the Sandler movies I can't get enough of.

It really is! I don't know anyone who's seen that movie and said they disliked it or thought it was just okay. Such fantastic casting, dialogue, and plotting!
