July 28- Marsi had the day off. We had been talking about getting a kitten for a long time and I really wanted her to get one because I know how happy they make her. Oh my god! D: I'm so, so sorry, and so sad I never got to meet her. :(

And don't blame yourself, ok? These kinds of diseases are unfortunately common amongst shelter babies. I looked up the disease, and dogs get a version of this too, called parvo, and there's no cure for it. The only way to prevent it is to be vaccinated against it; she had to have caught the virus before you even got her. So you did everything you could possibly have done, you loved her and gave her a happy life, even if it was just for a week.
