Well i didn't win the boots on eBay, which is potentially just as well. Given that they may not have arrived in time, plus I'd have had to take time of work to go to the post office to collect them (thus costing more $ in real terms).  And then we'd find out if they fit/were comfortable to wear for more than 5 seconds.

All those people who read before bed, I envy them.  Cos if I start reading later at night and it's a good book, then I find it very hard to put it down.

Like last night, I finished reading Neil Gaiman's Graveyard book (thank you local library) at 1.45am.

This morning I'm paying for it, but it was such a good book. How could I stop reading!!!!

On Friday night it was great to wear my lobster bustle to chastangela's and to catch up with last_chael , cyan_witch , faerie_mistress and more.  I didn't manage to steam up my bustle, so I wore it with a mid-calf denim skirt, and my brown boots.  Those boots start to pinch my toes after a while :-/  so I should see if I can get them stretched.

None of the others from the movie group had seen Death at a Funeral, and I was only too happy to see it again.

There was a really good turn out, and it's safe to say we all enjoyed it. I hooted with laughter the second time around. Some things were funnier for knowing in advance, and some weren't so much.

the skirt I started is still unfinished (hem & waistband are all that's left).  Might try finishing that one tonight.

I'm sort of interested in making my next shirt, though I've lost interest in my pattern, or more to the point think it might not be the right choice for the fabric. I'll simplify the shirt & be done with it.

well last night I set the VCR to record Heroes (still have 2 weeks to catch up) and curled up on top of my bed & went to sleep. woke up after 10pm and got my clothes ready for today & went  to bed properly.  You'll have noticed that my shirt/blouse didn't get cut out. :sigh:
