Wow, it's looking good already! I can't wait to see how it turns out in the end. The Edwardian era would look really nice in Lolita, and is currently one of my inspirations! By the way, I've started following your blog on Blogspot. There are some really nice things there. Are you going to update sometime or is it a finished blog? :)
Awww, that's so sweet of you! Yes, I'm going to update soon, hopefully this week - I had a period of health troubles, hence the hiatus, but I definitely do not plan on abandoning the blog:-) And thanks for your sweet comment, yes Edwardian era is wonderful for Lolita - I wonder what are you planning to create based on it? Will you show it here?
I'm glad you're going to update soon, it was a really nice handmade Lolita blog, which I haven't seen much of recently. Hopefully you're feeling better now, or at least on the road to recovery. :)
I really like the "walking dresses" in Edwardian fashions, especially as the era heads towards the 1920s. I haven't any ideas yet for the Lolita side of things, but after I've made my first Georgian outfit, I think I'll try my hand at an Edwardian corset; Usually I start with the undergarments first, to get the right silhouette. I don't think I'll show my period costumes here, being a Lolita site, but I'll definitely post to my blog. :)
Georgian! Lovely. I'm very much looking forward to it. Thanks for your tip how to add your blog, it worked, yay - so I will be watching out for that project. Edwardian walking dresses were certainly lovely! I love this era's opulence. Fingers crossed for the corset, that's a pretty tricky thing! I agree with you this is the best way to start, from the undergarments, though I confess I usually don't have the patience - so I admire you:-)
Yes, I'm better now (knock on wood), thank you! *hugs* And thanks a lot for your feedback about my blog, it's actually really nice to know what is it that people like seeing there - given the usual comparative lack of comments I'm often not at all sure:-)))
