I loved the Daryl and Beth intro too! I would love to know what is going ion inside Daryl's head.
That Lizzie is scary. I wonder how her storyline will progress.
I'm sorry but I'm glad Carol is back.

Yeah, it was effective. I think hurting, going-through-the-motions Daryl might get old fast, though. Hope he snaps out of it soon.

I like this method of story telling they are doing. I know it's only 2 eps in, but really it's going a long way to making the characters that are not Rick & Carl complete people. I wish this episode wasn't so crowded. If they had focused on Carol/Tyrese & Darryl/Beth the ep may have flowed a bit better. I took me the second airing to realize that the guy who attacked Beth was the guy that Carol/Tyrese left on the road. (Why not ask him if he wanted a mercy bullet to the head?) That means if Darryl is tracking them they're a few hours behind at most. FYI - Yes the people they came across included Luke. Beth said something like, "That's Luke's shoe".

Anyway. Tyrese & Carol. (Can I just gloat for a minute and say I totally called Judith being with Tyrese?) I also guessed Lizzie was behind the dissected rats. I also like the juxtaposition of the 2 personalities. Carol looks soft but is really tough and Tyrese looks tough but is really soft. My (unspoilered)prediction with Lizzie & Carol; it somehow comes out that Lizzie killed them,

I still haven't been able to watch again, but yeah, I wondered the same thing -- like they just leave the poor guy there, sobbing. And I know there's nothing they can do, he's bit therefore dead man walking, but hey, maybe offer a little compassion? Stay and talk to the guy for a minute? And yeah, ask if he wants them to help him end it. Was just weird. Obviously I didn't get that it was the same guy, either.

Several people have said that after that attack, Daryl and Beth go the other way on the tracks. And honestly, how much time did Beth spend taking care of those kids if she recognizes Luke's SHOE?

My (unspoilered)prediction with Lizzie & Carol; it somehow comes out that Lizzie killed them, perhaps by stabbing them like she couldn't do to her father. They were weak and all but dead

Yeah totally different reads on Carol and her motivations. I don't see her as cold and methodical all. I see her as someone willing to do the hard things when she has to in order to survive. I see her as thinking she failed Sophia and trying to toughen up these kids in order to ensure they can survive. I also saw the group as thinking that K & D might not make it through the night and being at death's door. (Although the whole suddenly appearing ambu bags & IV kits continue to bug). IIRC when Carol last saw Glenn he was sick and coughing , but didn't have the "at deaths door" look that K & D had

Remember during QaF when Brian & Justin were apart and Brian said "I never loved him… (l o n g pause)… but even if I did" and the B/Mers jumped on that as 'proof' that Brian didn't love/had never loved Justin because he just verbally said so? And the B/Jers wondered how the B/Mer's missed the 800 non-verbal clues and the rest of the sentence that made it clearly that Brian would always love Justin? This reminds me very much of that

Psycho-Lizzie is certainly interesting. I'm beginning to think maybe it was her and not Carol that killed those 2 people and that Carol is covering for her. That child has issues! Did you go back yet and see the bunny-massacre?

I just love Glenn. I'm glad Tara survived. That was a good scene between them.

Glenn was right back to S1 awesomeness. Maggie was all kinds of kickass too. Love it.

-I've never made a secret of not liking Rick or Carl, so to me last week's episode was a snooze fest. I'm not a Beth fan either, but I think she will grow on me if she continues to step up. Being tiny and gentle is no reason to not be able to defend yourself this far into the zombie apocalypse. I'm hoping Daryl will take her under his wing

The bunny killing happens when Tyrese and the kids are sitting at night. Mika give Ty a bottle for Judith, Lizzie is over on the log by herself. The bunnies are just out of the line of site on the other side of the bunnies.

I totally agree with your assessment of Glenn. Seeing him like that is one of the best things about this method of storytelling they are doing. It's allows the other characters to breathe and become multi -dimensional.

My guestimate of the timeline of events is that Carl/Michonne Rick are day 4 post-prision raid, Glen/Tara & Sasha/Maggie/Bob on day 2, or 2½ and Darryl/Beth & Carol/Tyrese somewhere around day 3ish with Beth/Darryl ~5hours behind Carol/Tyrese. So While Tyrese/Carol are likely to land at Terminus first, we're further along in time with Carl/Michonne/Rick. That depends of course on whether or not the folks in the tank are from Terminus. If that's the case Glenn/Tara could actually eat Tyrese/Carol to Terminus just because they have a ride and the others are on foot with 3 small kids.

Yes, I just meant that usually a big man outmatches a small woman, physically. There are exceptions of course, and a small woman can take on any size with the right training in how to defend or disable. I liked that Beth kept moving and went immediately for the knife.

The go-to guy that that steps back, assesses the situation, and then gets it done. He's the one that saved Rick in the tank, right?

YUP! And yes, loved that return to a more S1-Glenn.

I had to go back and look for the bunny scene, too. Even in HD, it still wasn't clear on my television. I'm surprised Daryl missed it.I haven't rewatched yet, but I had someone tell me they are tucked under a log. And I remember that scene were Daryl and Beth are walking by and in the foreground is the log. Because I remember thinking, weird angle, what am I supposed to be seeing there? But it just looked like a log, LOL. But

The intro with Beth's voice over was just perfect. But I agree, the whole first 10 minutes with them felt a little wasted. But I need to confess, I liked to see that they followed the tracks of Tyreese and the girls. Very well done. I'm only bit sad that they followed the railroad in the different direction than Tyreese and Carol. The reunion will last a little longer

I agree, Melissa was GREAT in that reunion scene with Tyrese. She's a really good actress.

I guess one of the sick people of the bus turned and then killed all the others. But you're right. Why not running as quick as possible when this happens?

Yeah, it could be sick people or it could be people got shot coz the bus was shot at... but it's like, everybody doesn't turn at the same time. So even if one person died and turned, they should be able to contain it pretty quickly. But of course, back at the prison with Patrick and in isolation, the same thing happened. It's too bad they set that precedent back in S1 that it can take hours for someone to turn because it really messes with things like this. LOL

The male watcher should get something for their money.
