-I've never made a secret of not liking Rick or Carl, so to me last week's episode was a snooze fest. I'm not a Beth fan either, but I think she will grow on me if she continues to step up. Being tiny and gentle is no reason to not be able to defend yourself this far into the zombie apocalypse. I'm hoping Daryl will take her under his wing.
I enjoyed the way it unfolded that they're following in Tyrese's footsteps. Seems everyone is going to follow the tracks...

-My favorite character in the episode was Glenn. I was shocked that he was still in the prison. His home is blown to shit, his wife and family missing, and he had to start all over again. I would have had a meltdown, too. Who wouldn't? But he knew he was on his own and had to get his crap together. I briefly saw the pre-Maggie Glenn back again. The go-to guy that that steps back, assesses the situation, and then gets it done. He's the one that saved Rick in the tank, right? Saving Tara is just the kind of guy he is. I like Tara, I see a lot of potential there. (I thought it was a hot guy on the steps, too!)

-I liked Bob in this episode. Maybe there's hope for him.

-Carol is doing something right. She looked healthy and well rested, lol.

-I agree with mi_nion's take of the walkers on the bus. We don't know who was attacked as they got on the bus, who died from injuries, etc. We also don't know how many people were able to get off safely. Maybe that's where the decimated group by the tracks came from? And if I had been on the bus, I would have tried to shut the doors behind me to contain them.

-Some have questioned having baby formula. They make it in powdered form and you just need to mix it with water. Simple. I think having disposable diapers is more of a head-scratcher. Do you know how bulky they are? I would hope they had a go bag ready for Judith.

-I had to go back and look for the bunny scene, too. Even in HD, it still wasn't clear on my television. I'm surprised Daryl missed it.

-The walker that attacked Beth was the man that Tyrese and Carol left suffering on the side of the tracks. Raises a difficult question, imo. Leave him to suffer and die on his own, hope he doesn't attack someone you know? Just kill him since he's going to die and turn anyway? It would have been nice if they offered him a choice.

The bunny killing happens when Tyrese and the kids are sitting at night. Mika give Ty a bottle for Judith, Lizzie is over on the log by herself. The bunnies are just out of the line of site on the other side of the bunnies.

I totally agree with your assessment of Glenn. Seeing him like that is one of the best things about this method of storytelling they are doing. It's allows the other characters to breathe and become multi -dimensional.

My guestimate of the timeline of events is that Carl/Michonne Rick are day 4 post-prision raid, Glen/Tara & Sasha/Maggie/Bob on day 2, or 2½ and Darryl/Beth & Carol/Tyrese somewhere around day 3ish with Beth/Darryl ~5hours behind Carol/Tyrese. So While Tyrese/Carol are likely to land at Terminus first, we're further along in time with Carl/Michonne/Rick. That depends of course on whether or not the folks in the tank are from Terminus. If that's the case Glenn/Tara could actually eat Tyrese/Carol to Terminus just because they have a ride and the others are on foot with 3 small kids.

Yes, I just meant that usually a big man outmatches a small woman, physically. There are exceptions of course, and a small woman can take on any size with the right training in how to defend or disable. I liked that Beth kept moving and went immediately for the knife.

YUP! And yes, loved that return to a more S1-Glenn.

(I thought it was a hot guy on the steps, too!)

OMG. SO GLAD IT WAS NOT JUST ME. LOL!

I haven't rewatched yet, but I had someone tell me they are tucked under a log. And I remember that scene were Daryl and Beth are walking by and in the foreground is the log. Because I remember thinking, weird angle, what am I supposed to be seeing there? But it just looked like a log, LOL. But anyway, that's why Daryl didn't see it, I guess.

It would have been nice if they offered him a choice.

I agree. It just seemed so cold. I mean, I know they had other things on their mind, but stay for a moment and give the guy some compassion, ask him if he wants you to help him end it, etc. That threw me off a lot.

In the log you see gray fur and red innards I guess. That's the dead rabbits.

Sorry for two replies, I also wanted to briefly say...

Carol is doing something right. She looked healthy and well rested, lol.

HAH. Well it's only been... what... two days since she was banished. And she had a fully stocked car, food, water, and gas. Yeah, she was better off than the prison folk, LOL!

I liked Bob in this episode. Maybe there's hope for him.

YAY!
